Tsoyal – A Gift Freely Given

€95.00

There are scents that are taken, and scents that are given. This is a fragrance of the latter. A story of surrender, not of loss, but of the power to release.

It lingers like a forgotten coin pressed into your palm of Rosenkranz & Güldenstern comedy of Tom Stoppard, the metallic whisper of tonka beans in excess, bitter and golden at once. A note of surrender, shimmering between sharp and soft, like a blade turned to light.

Inspired by the tale of Yeshe Tsogyal, the saint who impressed her students by giving gold freely to those who tried to take from her, this composition captures the moment before transformation. The tension of choice. The weight of gold before it ceases to matter.

Crafted from the finest raw materials, Tsoyal is neither gentle nor obvious. Yet it is powdery. The overdose of tonka turns its warmth into something unexpected, an echo of metal, the taste of unsaid words. It shares an ethereal kinship with Chanel’s La Pausa but moves differently: more metallic, with less softness and more tension. The iris here does not float, it is pressed into a blade, written on paper.

It is a scent for those who understand paradox.
To be gifted. Or not used at all.
